On Friday, December 21, 2018 at approximately 0057 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault near the corner of East 169 Street and Boston Road, within the confines of the 42 Precinct in Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 32-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the back. EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The deceased has been identified as follows:

Bronx, NY 10456
The suspect is described as a male, black, approximately in his 20’s and last seen wearing white sneakers, a multi-colored hooded jacket and multi-colored sweatpants.
There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
