The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the males depicted in the attached photo and video wanted for questioning in connection to a grand larceny that occurred within confines 48th Precinct in Bronx / Transit District 12.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at 0500 hours, a 23-year-old female was riding the northbound “2” train at East Tremont Avenue subway station when an unidentified male snatched her cell phone as the doors were closing. The male fled the station with two other males in unknown direction.

The person wanted for questioning is described as a male, Black, 15-18 years old; last seen wearing black shirt, dark pants and black sneakers.

A surveillance video clip of the suspects is attached and available at DCPI.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
