The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance video clip and photograph, who is wanted in connection to a grand larceny, that occurred within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Monday, July 27, 2020, at approximately 1709 hours, in the vicinity of Briggs Avenue and E. 198 Street, the individual grabbed the 63-year-old male victim’s chain off his neck and then fled on foot westbound on E. 198 Street.
The individual is described as a dark-skinned male, 28 to 35 years old, approximately 6’0″, approximately 180 to 190 lbs.
He was last seen wearing a dark colored baseball cap, a white tank top and black sweatpants.
