The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached video and photograph in connection to a grand larceny that occurred within the confines of the 44 Precinct in Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Thursday March 7, 2019, at approximately 1450 hours, in the vicinity of the Grand Concourse and E. 149 Street, the individual asked the 27-year-old male victim for money. When the victim opened his wallet, the individual reached into the wallet and removed the victim’s cash. The male then walked away westbound on E. 149 Street. The victim caught up to the individual and asked for his money back. The individual gave the victim some of the money back and then continued walking westbound on E. 149 Street; he fled the scene with approximately $90 in cash.
