The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the male depicted in the attached video and photo wanted for questioning in connection to a grand larceny that occurred within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in Bronx / Transit District 11.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to the police that on Monday, August 05, 2019 at approximately 1235 hours, a 46-year-old female victim was riding a southbound “4” train near the Mosholu subway station, when an unidentified male snatched her cellphone from her hand. The male fled to the street in unknown direction.
A surveillance video clip and a photograph of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.
Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1–800–577–TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1–888–57–PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
