The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is wanted for questioning in connection to a grand larceny, which occurred within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
On Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at approximately 1500 hours, at E. 170th Street and Walton Avenue, the unidentified individual removed the 60-year-old female victim’s wallet from her purse and made unauthorized transactions with the victim’s debit card a short time later.
A surveillance video clip and a photograph of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.
Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1–800–577–TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1–888–57–PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
