The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is wanted in connection to a grand larceny, that occurred within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Monday, January 04, 2021, at approximately 1352 hours, in front of 1083 Sheridan Avenue, the 61-year-old male victim was involved in a collision with the individual’s double parked and unoccupied gray “Audi” sedan.

After the individual and victim engaged in conversation regarding the incident, the victim tried to call 911 from his vehicle.

The individual opened the victim’s car door and took his cell phone from his hands. The victim walked away from the scene briefly and as he returned, he saw the individual use a sharp object to slash the four tires of his vehicle.

The individual entered his vehicle and fled the scene westbound on E. 166th Street.
