The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male, who is seen in the attached surveillance video and is sought in connection with a grand larceny, which occurred in transit within the confines of the 41st Precinct / Transit District #12 in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Friday, November 13, 2020, at approximately 2325 hours, the 21-year-old female victim was sitting aboard a southbound 2 Train, that was stopped with its doors open at the Simpson Street Station. An unidentified male approached and snatched the victim’s silver iPhone 11 from her hand and fled the train as the doors were closing.
The victim remained aboard the train and reported the incident at a later time; no injuries were incurred as a result of the incident.
