The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the female, shown in the attached surveillance video clip and photograph, who is wanted for questioning in connection with a grand larceny, that occurred in the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to the police that on Wednesday, September 09, 2020, at approximately 1230 hours, an unknown female approached an unattended ice cream cart and removed a backpack, containing the owner’s personal property, valued at approximately $1,800.

The female then fled on foot.

The individual is described as female, Hispanic, approximately 30 years old, approximately 5’4″ tall, weighing 120 lbs.

A surveillance video clip and a photograph of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
