The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the male depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video who is wanted for questioning in connection to a burglary that occurred within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.

The following was reported to the police.

On Thursday, February 20, 2020, at approximately 1300 hours, inside of 570 E. 138th (cell phone store), an unidentified male gained entry to the location by forcing open the front door.

Once inside, the male removed $320 before fleeing in unknown direction.

A surveillance video clip and a photograph of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
