The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs and video clip, who are wanted in connection to a non-fatal shooting / assault, that occurred within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Monday, August 23, 2021, at approximately 1330 hours, in the vicinity of E. 171st Street and Morris Avenue, four male individuals forcibly entered a 34-year-old male victim’s residence and once inside, they kicked his bedroom door and a physical altercation ensued with the victim.
One of the male individuals did fire multiple shots towards the victim, striking him in the right buttock.
The individuals then fled on foot eastbound on E. 171st Street.
The victim was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals / St. Barnabas in stable condition.
The individuals are described as four males, Black, approximately in their 20’s.
