The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male who is seen in the attached photograph and is sought in connection with a burglary within the confines of the 50th Precinct in Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on January 24, 2020, at 1500 hours at a multi-unit residential building in the vicinity of W. 225 Street and Marble Hill Avenue, an unidentified male gained entry to a basement apartment via an unlocked window.

Once inside, the unidentified male removed two Samsung cellphones, a Samsung tablet, a necklace, four watches three rings, three pairs of sunglasses and a backpack with a total combined value of $2,330. The unidentified male then exited the location and fled southbound on Marble Hill Avenue.

The 38-year-old male victim, who was not present during the incident, returned home a short time later and discovered that the burglary had occurred.

The unidentified male was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and red sneakers.
