Help Identify A Burglary Suspect

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance video clip, who is wanted in connection to a burglary, which occurred within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Monday, September 27, 2021, at approximately 2345 hours, at Mt. Eden Motors, Inc., located at 28 W. Mt. Eden Avenue, an individual gained entry into the car dealership trailer through an office wall.

Once inside, the individual did cause damage to the trailer walls, trailer door and a filing cabinet.

The individual removed a pen valued at $100.

The individual is described as an adult male, Hispanic, last seen wearing a multi colored hooded jacket, blue jeans and white/black colored sneakers.

A surveillance video clip of the suspect is attached and available at DCPI.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
