The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the following individual depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is wanted in connection to a bank robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at approximately 1210 hours, inside of Chase Bank located at 2402 Arthur Avenue, an unidentified individual approached a teller and displayed a note demanding cash. The victim complied and the individual fled on foot to parts unknown with approximately $1,300.
There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
The individual is described as a light-skinned, adult male, approximately 5’09” tall, with a slim build and was first seen wearing a yellow and black hooded sweatshirt and a surgical mask and after discarding clothes he was seen wearing a white under shirt, black hat, red shorts and black sneakers.
