The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the male depicted in the attached photos for a bank robbery that occurred within the 44 Precinct in Bronx.
The details are as follows.
It was reported to the police that January 5, 2019 at 11:36 a.m., an unidentified male entered an Apple Bank, located at 101 E. 170th Street, where he handed a bank teller a note demanding money. The unidentified male forcibly grabbed another customer towards the bank teller and verbally threatened to hurt the customer if he the bank teller did not comply. The male fled the location after the bank teller handed him $1,420. There were no reported injuries.
The individual is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 35 years-old, 5’4″, 140 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a dark colored vest, blue jeans, black shoes, a black skull cap and sunglasses.
