Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. and the #Not62 Steering Committee will be hosting a “Health Disparities and CoViD-19 in The Bronx: Challenges to Life & Health in Our Communities” panel to discuss what has been learned about vulnerable populations from CoViD-19 pandemic.
Guest panelists include Medical Director of The Bronx Neighborhood Health Action Center and Assistant Commissioner of the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Dr. Jane Bedell; Racial Policy Scholar and Associate Professor at Metropolitan College (City University of New York – CUNY) Dr. Lessie Branch, PhD; and Pediatric Critical Care Physician at the Somos Community Care Network Dr. Denise Nuñez.
Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. will also discuss building resilience in the Bronx for the long term, #Not62 Health education and public outreach series for borough residents as well as remarks from New York City Department of Health and Mental Health Commissioner Dr. Oxiris Barbot.
