On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at approximately 2032 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) police officers responded to a 911 call of a male, shot inside of 671 Westchester Avenue, within the confines of the 40th Precinct / PSA 7 in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 26-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the neck.
EMS responded and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.
