Fatal Bronx Fire Leaves 4 Dead

On March 31, 2020, at approximately 1924 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a fire at 1560 Grand Concourse within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.

FDNY suppressed a fire on the 6th floor of the location, in apartment #603, where the fire initiated.

Two females from inside apartment #601 and two females from apartment #602 were transported to BronxCare Health System where they were pronounced deceased.

The NYC Fire Marshal will determine the cause of the fire and the investigation is ongoing. 

Identities of the four deceased females is pending proper family notifications.

The investigation remains ongoing.

All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
