On Sunday, August 25, 2024, at approximately 1450 hours, police responded to a 911 call for a vehicle collision on Pelham Parkway service road near Hutchinson River Parkway, within the confines of the 45th Precinct in the Bronx.
Further investigation by the NYPD Highway District Collision Investigation Squad determined that a 2024 Suzuki GSX-S 1000 motorcycle was traveling westbound on Pelham Parkway, when it collided with a 2023 Lexus IS 350, traveling eastbound on Pelham Parkway, making a left turn to enter the entrance ramp of southbound I-95.
The unidentified male operator of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased on scene by EMS and the unidentified female passenger of the motorcycle was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi in critical condition, where she later succumbed to her injuries on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.
The 40-year-old male operator and a 39-year-old female passenger of the Lexus sedan were transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi in stable condition.
A 3-year-old female passenger in the Lexus sedan was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi in critical condition.
Following an ongoing police investigation, and proper family notification, the unidentified 20-year-old male operator of the motorcycle has been identified as:

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
