On Friday, August 21, 2020, at approximately 0421 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 4235 Park Avenue, within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers were informed that a 44-year-old male sustained a gunshot wound to the back of the head at the location and was transported via private means, to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
