On Sunday, May 24, 2020 at approximately 2152 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress in the vicinity of 195th Street and Marion Avenue, within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 37-year-old male, who sustained multiple stab wounds to his body.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Pursuant to an active investigation the following 29-year-old male individual was arrested on Monday, May 25, 2020, at approximately 1100 hours.

- criminal possession of a weapon.
The identity of the deceased is pending proper family notification.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
