On Friday, December 28, 2018 at approximately 2207 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) police officers responded to a 911 call of an assault inside 1345 Southern Boulevard, apartment 3K, within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 32-year-old male victim lying on the floor of the apartment with at least one gunshot wound to his torso.

EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation with regard to the above-described homicide, the following 29-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation with regard to the above-described homicide, the following 28-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged on Monday, March 11, 2019, at 2300 hours.

The investigation remains ongoing.
