On Thursday, October 07, 2021, at approximately 1425 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a person, shot at River Avenue and E. 151st Street, within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 42-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the chest.
EMS also responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospital / Lincoln, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 21-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged on Thursday, November 04, 2021, at 1315 hours within the confines of the 44th Precinct.

- murder;
- manslaughter;
- criminal possession of a weapon: loaded firearm.
The investigation remains ongoing.
