On Saturday, May 10, 2025, at approximately, 2033 hours, in the vicinity of 224 Willis Avenue, within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx, police responded to a 911 call of a crime in progress.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 30-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his chest and a 42-year-old female with a gunshot wound to her leg.
EMS responded and removed both victims to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, where the 30-year-old male victim was pronounced deceased and the 42-year-old female victim was listed in stable condition.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
