On Friday, April 02, 2021, at approximately 1608 hours, police responded to a call of an unconscious male inside of 1162 Washington Avenue, within the confines of the 42nd Precinct / PSA 7 in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers were met by EMS who pronounced the victim, a 28-year-old male, deceased as a result of a gunshot wound to the head.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
