Clifton Savage, 40, Arrested For The Murder Of Terrance Smith, 31 & Sergio Santana, 40

On Sunday, December 26, 2021, at approximately 0407 hours, police responded to a 911 call of two males, shot at the intersection of E. 168th Street and Morris Avenue, within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.

Upon arrival, officers observed two males with gunshot wounds in front of 275 E. 168th Street.

A 31-year-old male suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced deceased on scene by EMS.

Another unidentified 40-year-old male suffered a gunshot wound to the neck, arm and back and was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln in critical condition.

Following proper family notification, the deceased have been identified as follows.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 40-year-old male individual has been arrested in regard to the above-listed homicides.

Charges:

  • murder( 2 counts);
  • manslaughter( 2counts).

The investigation remains ongoing.

All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
