On Saturday, September 04, 2021, at approximately 1408 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a motor vehicle collision in front of 887 Hunts Point Avenue, within the confines of the 41st Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 52-year-old male driver, unresponsive in the driver’s seat of 2012 Kia Soul.
EMS responded to the location and transported the aided male to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, where he was pronounced deceased.
A preliminary investigation determined that the operator may have suffered a medical episode and collided into the rear of a parked 2014 Honda Accord.
No criminality is suspected at this time.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.
