On Friday, August 16, 2019 at approximately 2051 hours, police responded to a call of an unconscious person at 668 Jefferson Place within the confines of the 42 Precinct in Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers determined that a 6-month-old female was found by a family member unconscious and unresponsive inside the location. EMS responded and transported the victim to Bronx Lebanon Hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
The New York City Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.

The investigation remains ongoing.
