On Sunday, August 25, 2024, at approximately 1452 hours, police responded to a 911 call about a person, shot at 265 E. 176th Street, within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers were informed that a 23-year-old male was shot twice in the chest by an unidentified individual after a verbal dispute.
The unidentified male fled the location eastbound on E. 176th Street.
EMS transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
