Carlos Gonzalez, 25, Sought For Assault

The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance locating the following known individual, depicted in the attached surveillance video clip, regarding an assault (non-fatal stabbing), that occurred within the confines of the 50th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at approximately 1911 hours, in front of 3343 Sedgwick Avenue, a 21-year-old female victim was walking with her ex-boyfriend, while pushing their infant son in a baby stroller.

A verbal argument ensued, at which time the individual placed her in a choke hold, dragged her and the baby, within the stroller, to the ground then proceeded to stab her multiple times throughout the body before fleeing the location.

EMS responded to the location and transported both the victim and the infant to St. Barnabas Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.

He is described as a 25-year-old male, Hispanic, having a medium complexion, approximately 5’10” tall, weighing 140 lbs., with a thin build, brown eyes and long black hair in braids.

He was last seen wearing yellow shorts, a white t-shirt, white sneakers and carrying a black bag.
