Police have charged a 55-year-old woman with stabbing her husband to death in the Bronx Friday night.
Patricia Nimmons allegedly stabbed her husband in the torso in their Morrisania home at 963 Prospect Avenue. When police found Nimmons’ husband, 50, he was unconscious and was later pronounced dead on arrival at Lincoln Hospital.
Nimmons has been charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.
Information on a lawyer for Nimmons was not immediately available.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
