An 18-year-old Bronx man is expected to survive after he fell 50 feet between two buildings on North Avenue late Saturday night.

Joseph Daciullo of 618 Vincent Avenue landed in a trash heap after falling down a shaft from the top of the building near Horton Avenue about 11:00 p.m., authorities said.

New Rochelle police said they did not consider the incident “suspicious” and were not pursuing an investigation early Sunday.

Emergency crews rescued the man late Saturday and rushed him to Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx. Daciullo was listed in stable condition there early Sunday.

Initial reports said the man had a “serious” back injury, but police on Sunday said the injuries were minor. A hospital official declined to provide further details about his injuries.
