Earlier today, a festival was held in Crotona to help the community learn about future planning and development in the Bronx.
The event was hosted by the Bronx-wide Coalition in order to bring multiple community organizations and their resources to residents.
The goal, according to organizers, is to help community members learn about and contribute to the coalition’s pllanning process and economic development plan for the Bronx.
More than 20 organizations participated in the festival. The groups covered 7 different sectors including health, food, energy, education, housing, manufacturing and transportation.
