A 4-month-old baby girl was stabbed in the head during a confrontation between her mother and another woman on a Bronx street Friday.

The mom told cops she was holding her daughter in her arms when the woman confronted her on E. 165th Street, near Union Avenue in the Morrisania section of Bronx at about 04:30 p.m.

During the argument, the attacker pulled out a pen and stabbed the child once in the forehead, said police.

According to a witnesses, the child was crying and bleeding from the gash on her head. He gave a napkin to another man who tended to the baby’s wound.

By the time cops arrived, the attacker was gone, said witnesses.

The injured child and mother were taken to Lincoln Hospital where the baby was treated for the nonlife threatening wound, said police.

Police believe the women knew each other and were unsure whether the baby was the intended target of the attack.
