Police in New York City were investigating the shooting death of a man from Bridgeport, CT this past Sunday.

Investigators said Norman McCassling, 29, of Bridgeport was found with a single gunshot wound to the chest about 2:30 p.m. on East 182 Street in the Bronx.

EMS personnel pronounced McCassling dead at the scene.

No arrests had been made and the investigation was ongoing.
