On Saturday, September 25, 2021, at approximately 2226 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a motor vehicle collision, involving a bicyclist in the intersection of Linden Boulevard and Snediker Avenue, within the confines of the 75th Precinct in Brooklyn.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 44-year-old male, lying on the roadway, with severe trauma about the body.
EMS also responded to the location and transported the victim to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced.
Further investigation by the NYPD Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad determined the 44-year-old male was operating an e-bike, traveling eastbound on Linden Boulevard, entered the intersection and was struck by a dark color sedan, traveling northbound on Snediker Avenue.
The vehicle did not remain at the scene.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
