On Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at approximately 0557 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious person on the roof of the McDonald’s restaurant located at 279 E. 149th Street, within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.

Upon arrival, officers observed 65-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, wrapped within a plastic bag.

EMS also responded to the location and pronounced the individual deceased at the scene.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 22-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at 2000 hours, within the confines of the 40th Precinct.

The following 18-year-old female individual was arrested and charged in regard to this incident on Thursday, July 17, 2020, at 1730 hours, within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.
