On Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at 1626 hours police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot at the intersection of E. 165th Street and Faile Street, in the confines of the 41st Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, police discovered the victim, a 58-year-old male, lying unconscious and unresponsive in the roadway, with multiple gunshot wounds to his head and body.
EMS responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 57-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at 0830 hours, within the confines of the 41st Precinct.

Charges:
- murder;
- manslaughter;
- criminal possession of a weapon: loaded firearm (2 counts).
The investigation remains ongoing.
