On Thursday, September 24, 2020, at 1915 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a deceased child at the Cohen Children’s Medical Center, located at 269-01 76th Avenue, within the confines of the 105th Precinct in Queens.
Upon arrival, officers were informed that a 3-year-old female child was brought to the facility via private means, unconscious and unresponsive, with no obvious signs of trauma and pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 59-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged on Thursday, September 24, 2020, at 2215 hours, within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.

- acting in a manner injurious to a child under 17
The investigation remains ongoing.
