On Friday, June 11, 2021, at approximately 0046 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a person, shot in front of 1741 E. 172nd Street, within the confines of the 43rd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed an 18-year-old male with a gunshot wound his back and shoulder.
EMS responded to location and transported the male victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
