The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the male, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs and wanted for questioning in connection to an assault, that occurred within the confines of the 46th Precinct / Transit District 11 in the Bronx.

The following was reported to police.

On Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at approximately 1915 hours, a 73-year-old female was on the southbound 174-175th Street (B, D) subway station platform, when an unidentified male punched her in the side of her face. The male fled down the stairs and exited the station in unknown direction.

There was no exchange or conversation between the male and the victim prior to the incident.

The victim was removed to Bronx Care Hospital to be treated for pain and swelling.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation the following 23-year-old male individual was arrested on June 20, 2020 at 2150 hours.
