A Teenager, 17, Arrested For The Murder Of Saiko Koma, 21

On Sunday, October 24, 2021, at approximately 2049 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot at 2253 Ryer Avenue, within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.

Upon arrival, police observed a 21-year-old male, lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the head.

EMS also responded and transported the male victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased on Tuesday, October 26, 2021.

The incident has been deemed a homicide.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, a 17-year-old male has been arrested and charged in connection to the above-listed homicide.

The investigation remains ongoing.
