On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at approximately 1753 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot in front of 266 E. Gun Hill Road, within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed an 18-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the head.
EMS responded and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 17-year-old male individual was arrested and charged on May 21, 2025, at 2300 hours, within the confines of the 52nd Precinct.

- murder in the 2nd degree;
- manslaughter in the 1st degree;
- criminal possession of a weapon in the 2nd degree.
The investigation remains ongoing.
