The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the male in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is wanted for questioning in connection to an attempted rape incident, which took place within the confines of the 104th Precinct in Queens.
The details are as follows.
It was reported to the police that on Monday, July 06, 2020, at 0800 hours, in the vicinity of Gates Avenue and Cypress Avenue, a 37-year-old female returned home when she was approached by an unknown male individual who followed her into her building.
Once inside the male pushed the victim to the floor attempted to remove the victim’s clothing.
The victim fought back which caused the male individual to exit the building and flee on foot to parts unknown.
The individual is described as a male, Hispanic, 20-30 years of age.
Following an ongoing investigation, a 12-year-old male was arrested and charged as follows.
- sex abuse;
- criminal possession of a weapon.
