The New York City Police Department (NYPD) and the Camden County Police Department (CCPD) are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the following person, who was reported missing from within the confines of the17th Precinct in Manhattan.

Jamaya, a minor in the custody of NJ Division of Youth and Family Services (DYFS), fled during transport and was last seen on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 in Newark, NJ. She did reach out to a family member and said she was in New York, but we have not heard from or seen her.
It was later reported to police that Jamaya Miller Long was last seen in the vacinity of Grand Central Station at 42nd Street in Manhattan, NY on the same day.
The missing is described as a 15-year-old female, Black, approximately 5’6” tall, weighing 150 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair. She has two nose piercings, one in each nostril.
She was last seen wearing a black-and-white school uniform, two brown puffer jackets, brown “Ugg” boots, and black leggings.
