On Sunday, July 6, 2025, at approximately 1537 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot in front of 1697 Fulton Avenue, within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in theBronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 21-year-old male ,unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to the neck.
EMS responded and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, in critical condition.
The victim succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.
Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the Office of Chief Medical Examiner has deemed this incident a homicide.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.
