On Monday January 7, 2019, at approximately 1919 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in the vicinity of East 178 Street and Boston Road, within the confines of the 48 Precinct in Bronx.
Upon arrival officers found an unconscious and unresponsive 38-year-old male inside of a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head.
EMS also responded to the scene and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation the following 38-year-old individual has been arrested and charged.

- murder 2;
- manslaughter;
- criminal use of a firearm;
- criminal possession of a weapon.
