On Saturday, August 29, 2020, at approximately 2112 hours, police responded to a 911 call of two males stabbed in front of 2670 3rd Avenue, within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival police discovered two stabbed individuals as follows.
- Victim 1, a 49-year-old male was stabbed in the torso and removed to Linncoln Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
- Victim 2, a 31-year old male was stabbed in the torso and removed to Lincoln Hosital in stable condition.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

A 38-year old male was taken into custody and charged are pending.
There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
