NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Hyde Leadership Charter School, an approved School Food Authority in the State of New York, invites the submission of sealed bids for their Breakfast and Lunch meal program. Contractors submitting bids must be registered in the State of New York to participate in the 2017/18 Program. These meals are to be served to children in the Hyde Leadership Charter School’s High School, located at 830 Hunts Point Avenue. The bid should be for 25 breakfasts and 125 lunches, Monday through Friday from 08/30/2017 – 06/28/2018. Delivery is to be made as per bid specifications and contract. Sealed bids marked on the outside envelope, “SCHOOL MEAL SERVICE PROGRAM BID,” should be received by Friday, May 26, 2017 at the Hyde Leadership Charter School at 730 Bryant Avenue, Bronx, NY 10474.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of the USDA and the New York State Child and Nutrition Program. 2 CFR 200.320(c)(2)(iv) and The Buy American provision requirements. Section 104(d) of the William F. Goodling Child Nutrition Reauthorization Act of 1998 (Public Law 105-336) added a provision, Section 12(n) to the NSLA (42 USC 1760(n)), requiring school food authorities (SFAs) to purchase, to the maximum extent practicable, domestic commodity or product.
