On Saturday, October 22, 2022, at approximately 0508 hours, police responded to a ShotSpotter activation at 763 E. 219th Street, within the confines of the 47th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed 62-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to his head.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi, where he was subsequently pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
